I think when I was a kid I would have enjoyed the Syracuse Mets’ no-seats-necessary turf section out at the edge of the right-field and left-field edges of NBT Bank Stadium.

It affords an interesting view toward the field, I noted as I stepped down on the way to our seats.
Yes, seats, the preferred way to watch a game for a fan of a certain age …
What a brilliant idea.

A few years ago I went to see the Tampa Bay Rays in their covered stadium which, in order to pack in as many seats as possible, has sections in the very back that are practically vertical. I’d prefer the turf seats to ones that give me vertigo, but I’m glad you’ve got seats that are both comfortable and well-grounded.

I’ve sat in some mighty high seats in various stadiums, yes, Chris, just to get into a game I really wanted to attend.

Be careful you don’t slip and fall on those steps as you make your way to the seats reserved for fans of a certain age. 😉

Oh poor little brother! Personally I can sprawl anyplace I want to and a few places I didn’t intend to . The real trick is in getting up because the going down is fast. It’s the landings that cause most of the problems. Have a great weekend, my friend!
