Happy Halloween from Central New York

The folks at Syracuse University have the Hall of Languages set up just right for this day. When my dear wife Karen and I walked down the hill after the Orange football game vs. Pittsburgh, they even had a spooky soundtrack playing.

Ride like the wind

A recent work break walk on a windy day caught this guy making the most of the wind at Onondaga Lake Park. On wheels. In the parking lot. Cool.

The arches await

The preparation at Onondaga Lake Park is more serious. I can picture the walkers going through the arches all bright with holiday colors the opening two nights first, though.

Less boats, more lights

The folks are busy putting up the Lights on the Lake displays that line my work walks, for sure. Others have been taking their boats home from the marina. Or to wherever they store them these coming months.

Simple and attractive

Taking the quick stroll between the library and Dunkin’ in the Village of Liverpool, I pass the Retreat. The restaurant/lounge is ready for Halloween, simply and with nice style.

Spooky, in a nice way

On a walk through the blocks of our Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville with my dear wife Karen and our cherished rescue mutt Ellie B, we enjoyed the Halloween preparations. Nicely done.
