KP and I had to stretch our legs for a bit during the Syracuse Mets-Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders game Thursday night at NBT Bank Stadium.
The sun setting over the left field wall sure was pretty as we wound our way toward right field.

And the outfielders sure looked alert as we bellied up to the rail in the right field bar and grill.
Great night out at the ballpark.
There’s never a bad night at the ballgame, Mark! Our Springfield Cardinal’s (farm team for the St. Louis Cardinals) has a beautiful stadium–Hammons Field. I love sitting on the grass on the 3rd base side and in the stadium itself, love sitting more to first baseline. Kinda strange, but true! It’s the views! Hope all is well my friend.

We all develop our stadium customs, Karla. I’m glad you have your stadium there!

I have always liked sitting on the first base side of a baseball stadium.

Most stadiums I can like both baselines, Tony, but at this stadium I have grown a preference for the third base side. I think it has to do where the sun shines.

Must have been the 7th inning.
I was a bit curious about the origin of inning and the 7th inning stretch. Searched a bit. Just enough to satisfy my curiosity.

I must admit that nowadays I have no fears about singing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ during the seventh-inning stretch out loud, ladysighs. My decades of attending games have earned me that right. No, I am not in the same game as you voice-wise, though people politely clap after I finish a song in a karaoke joint.

Yes, we all need to get over that fear. I sing because I enjoy doing it.
Of course I have fear of doing other things. Guess I should take my own advice and try something new. 🙂

Every now and again we should all surprise ourselves, yes, ladysighs. Wow that is easier said than done.
