When KP texted to see if I was interested in taking in the Syracuse Mets game against the Yankees’ Triple-A squad, I was all in.
We’ve for four decades delighted in our devotion for the New York Mets and New York Yankees, respectively. We honor each other’s fandom. With a bit of trash talk every now and then.
KP went out a couple days before Thursday night game day and secured us fine tickets, indeed.
We enjoyed hanging out, rooting for our squads and shooting the bull, for sure.
The Rail Riders beat the Mets. Bragging rights go to KP.
