The leaves that dot my work break stroll in the Village of Liverpool really hung in there this October.

Our trees changed, literally, overnight. Or at least over a weekend. One Friday I drove to work bemoaning the lack of color, but on the following Monday, I drove the same route and was amazed at how beautiful the trees had become. Too bad those leaves won’t stay very long, what with the wind and rain we’re experiencing today. Just this morning, hubby commented that he maybe should have gotten that leaf blower after all.

We are just now getting hit with the bright changes. I came home last night to my yard completely full of leaves. They weren’t there when I left in the morning!

The leaves are starting to pile up on the pool cover now here, too, MBC.
