Now, a drop in the pool water level

Leveled off to here.

My dear wife Karen worked so hard to get the in-ground pool ready for swimming here at A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville.

We were so happy when the kids came over for the first barbecue and pool party.

And then they dropped over with some pool toys, and my terrific daughter Elisabeth said what had been nagging in the back of my mind.

Top step, no water.

The water level was obviously down.

George Three and Karen got online, researching the subject.

We stuck the hose in and got the level back up.

Down she went again. But only so far. We think that means it’s something in the filtering system. I toyed with the pump cover, which I’d taken off so Karen could clean out the catch.

We shall see … So far, so good.

Ah, the joys of pool ownership. And I haven’t gone in past my calves on the steps but once at the party.
