So many new plants to color A Bitty Better

My dear wife Karen’s weekly food run to the local supermarket got sidetracked.

I’d had my suspicion as the clock ticked on, but the text I received from Ballantyne Gardens over on Hopkins Road cemented the deal.

I admired the plant in the photo she sent over.

Little did I know how much more there’d be than bags stuffed with food to unload from her Mazda.

Yes, I was in for some spade work.

I knew the gorgeous azalea and tiger lily Karen had received for Mother’s Day from Elisabeth and George had to go into the ground. Now they had great company.

I’m rooting for all to make it in the spots we put them in.

Baby’s got back.

Blooming big.

The yard will yield great beauty for years to come. Knock on wood.

What’s coming up in your world these days?

  1. Pretty, pretty! Good variation of low-maintenance plants. Wise.
I thought my lilies would never open, any of them, but they finally did, Wednesday. I won’t bore you with the long list of what’s blooming, but I am glad the lilies finally opened 🙂
