Built for Sue’s sake.
Before George Two and I left their yard, Sue had to show me a spring development right there.
George Three and Two had teamed to build a sturdy and worthy bird house on their side yard.
But …
The neighborhood birds had other ideas for April nesting.

Inviting, yes?
That’s a mighty nice spring wreath on the family front door, I agreed.
Look closer, she implored.

Bird eggs right there.
Yes, mama bird decided to make her home and leave her eggs inside that wreath.
While the bird house lies empty, you betcha.
Love nature’s decisions.
Those birds obviously liked the wreath accommodations better, Mark!

Pretty wreath! Pretty nest! And every time they open the front door, Momma bird flies away.

so funny, Mother Nature has a great sense of humor and knows that humans can never keep up, but humors us anyway

Those birds have their own preferences for sure, Beth! Sue couldn’t wait to show me that wreath and the full nest.
