Walking the neighborhood blocks during my retirement month can lead to some slippery discoveries even when the lawns are bare.
When the temperatures fall below freezing, puddles, they do go icy.

So easy to fall on any amount of ice, and I know that from personal experience. Did it many years ago, and vowed not to do it again. So far, I’ve lived up to the challenge.
