Pumpkins, warty and otherwise

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

You never know the size, color and some other aspects of the pumpkins you can spy at Ontario Orchards.

I don’t recall the good folks at the Oswego farm stand putting out warty pumpkins in our visits years past.

Carved or molded?

Nor have my dear wife Karen and I have spied these decorative pumpkins that are surely inanimate. My first thought after a touch was that they’re made from wood. Then, maybe, ceramics of a sort? Concrete?

In any case, I hope roamers in their new neighborhoods do not attempt the traditional grab-and-smash!
