Mark, where we lived previously we had some roses. They were “tough guys” because they grew no matter the conditions, which made us appreciate them even more. My wife is a carnation person, so obviously I enjoy some “savings” when buying her flowers…but I admittedly do spring for some roses for her on special occasions.
