My dear wife Karen and I always stop at the restaurant/pub The Red Nun, nestled cozily on Main Street in the Village of Dennis Port.
We visit in the afternoon so we can again chat with bartender Jack.
This year he served us tap pints of Cape Cod Blonde Ale in glasses adorned with Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots emblems.
This after he once again heard us talking about our Syracuse home, our New York Mets fandom, etc.

A bartender with a name Jack would make anyone suspicious. Of what? I don’t know.

When Jack tells somebody who had too much to hit the road, the whole bar breaks into song. I can see the scene now, ladysighs.
