My dear wife Karen wins the Internet again.
She spied a great piece that reminded her of how I love to pet our cherished rescue mutt Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle.
I was politely instructed to open the package when it arrived.
Floored. Thrilled. There may have been a tear in at least one of my eyes.
Ellie and I indeed enjoy relating to each other in just that way.
And so the wood art lives on our shelf. I believe the resemblance is uncanny.
