Hey, I think during my January morning work break walk, the warm weather return of the boats will look pretty good framed between these two trees come the end of May, too. Dream on, I will.

Trees are a blessing in any of their forms. Having lived in Wyoming (where there are less trees than people), you come to appreciate trees. I actually get sad when I see the death of a tree (people in my neighborhood are forever cutting down trees – and I just don’t understand why one would do that – unless their diseased. But if it is just so one will have more lawn, that makes no sense to me). Keep warm, my friend!!

Trees are a bless for sure, SD. I’m now trying to nurture through the winter a new fig tree gifted to me by a friend!

Oooo – I love Fig trees, their leaves are beautiful!! That’s kind of a tough environment for a Fig, I thought they liked more of a Mediterranean climate. Good luck!

I’m following his trick, SD. The trees are grown in buckets, and moved ‘inside’ for the winter. He’s been successful putting his dozen in his garage. I’m putting my one in our shed. The shelter from snow and wind seems to be enough to keep them healthy!

Isn’t it interesting, that a tree with no leaves, when it should be considered bare and not at its peak, is very much a beautiful sight? 🙂

They are beautiful year round, I so agree, MBC.

Thank goodness for those trees. I wonder what the trees would look like if you photographed them from a boat on the lake? But then I remember your comment about not going out on boats. Pity. 😦
