
My terrific daughter Elisabeth texted from Florida this example of gators and long-necked birds not caring that park people threw them together and charged admission so regular folk could admire how they got along.
Yeah, I do wonder if this happens so peacefully outside the gates, too, or is a bit more fretful come dinner time.

My experience with reptiles has taught me that even the scariest looking ones can be quite docile when well-fed, but that same experience has taught me you never really know when they’re going to get hungry again.
