Yes, the new lighting inside the Carrier Dome sure flashes things up for the pregame ceremonies, I thought just before the start of the season finale between the Syracuse Orange and Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday night.
Then as I looked around minutes before game time and noted all those empty seats, I noted that some things stay the same.
Syracuse football still needs to win over hearts, minds and wallets. Box score attendance for the 31-14 loss: 27,939. Looked like less to me. Can’t really pretty that up.
Sorry, am I missing time somewhere or abducted by aliens? I thought that game was several days ago on Saturday and they already lost to Pittsburgh big!

No just my normal posting of several things consecutively after game day, Gerald.

So frustrating for the team I’m sure.

I don’t complain when only a few of my hundreds of WordPress followers show up for my performance.
No ticket needed.
(thank you for being one of my loyal fans) 😉

Sad! Do you think it’s pandemic related or fair-weather fan results?

Some of both, Karla.

it really matters, you’re right and even though there are loyal fans like you, there need to be more to support the team on a regular basis

Something needs to happen to fill those seats, for sure, Beth.
