A look around our backyard garden revealed this flat plant.
Yes, we had been hit by a big rain — make that several big rains — prior. I believe it had left this wide one even wider.

I just finished watching Ken Burn’s ‘Dust Bowl’
And of course then I had to re-watch ‘Grapes of Wrath’
Then of course I had to write on it…. both.
God is good,
But rain is great.
