Shark warning.
The four adventurers drove along the shore roads of Chatham and pulled up between the lighthouse and a cool-looking beach.
First walk for Elisabeth, George Three, my dear wife Karen and I was the alluring beach, big shark warning be damned.

Happy together.
The sand felt good on our feet. The wind felt good in our hair.

First water testing of the trip.
On Memorial Day 2021, the water of Nantucket Sound is crisp.

Lighthouse yonder.
The lighthouse that stood across the road looked very painting-like from the beach.

Guarding the coast.
Up close, we found out that two lighthouses used to flank the coast guard building until one eroded into the sea.
History captivates.
Absotoothly jawsome, Mark! Lol! 🦈

I think my favorite parts of the pictures, all of them, are the smiling faces.

Somebody had their fingers awfully close to the shark’s mouth. I wouldn’t even trust a picture of one. 😦
