Bye-bye garden
Not too soon after I marveled how the neighborhood construction had somehow managed to leave unscathed the pretty Salina Town Offices front gardens, my cherished rescue mutt Ellie B and I met with a disappointing sight.
Gone were the flowers we’ve enjoyed for our almost five years living here.
They had to fix what was wrong, including those major holes for drainage, yes. But …
So I “liked” this post but only because it gives me hope that if you noticed, others did too. And that they’ll have to replace those flowers because if they don’t, they’ll hear about it!

You got that right, Kay. I hope that the folks that wanted it nice pre-reno will still want it nice post-reno.

What is that black stripped creature curled up? Must have been found while they were digging around in the drain/sewer. UGH!

The dreaded new-dangled drainage pipe, ladysighs. It’s a doozie all right.

I wonder if there have been reports of missing pets. 😉

My best guess is that will be one of the final steps of the reno process, Nance, yes.
