The dog is real. The baby squirrels are toys.
My dear wife Karen orders the little stuffier to replenish our cherished rescue mutt’s supply every few months or so.
They don’t last that long with her attention.
At this moment, however, she is contemplating a blueberry.
Too cute!

We had that toy for our dogs! Did you get the tree stump, too? It was great fun watching our Morgan, the mixed border collie, and later Cody, the Golden/Shepherd mix, get those squirrels out of the tree – until they each destroyed the squirrels, of course. However, our “aggressive” guard dog, Riggsie the purebred German Shepherd, would get the squirrels out and then merely cuddle them. Go figure.

Yes, the stump is in the big bin of Ellie B toys, CM. Karen has to order replacement squirrels because the darn dog goes through them, and you DO know what I mean. Cheers to the way your dear Riggsie was tender!
