My dear wife Karen and I usually take our annual trip to Ontario Orchards up and over in Oswego before Halloween.
This scrambled virus 2020 caused us to miss that window of travel.
When we went pre-Thanksgiving instead, the conclusion of our little-less-than-an-hour drive found instead of buckets of pumpkins, a lineup of pines.
Outside the storefront hung the markers for yet another holiday.
Yet inside, masked up, we found what we always seek in this awesome market.
The honeycrisp apples went home with us, along with a no-sugar-added apple pie for me and strawberry rhubarb and apple pies for Karen.
Tasty, yes.
Honeycrisp (and Ambrosia) are my favorites! I’m glad you were able to carry on with some tradition in these tricky times. Yay!
