I might be leaving everybody in the dark about Lights on the Lake

So for the pair of walking events to enjoy this year’s Lights on the Lake spectacular, I was off for my work trip to St. Louis.

No, I could not get photographs from there.

Upon my return, my plan has been to make the best of things by rushing down to the route after my work shift ends and before the cars start snaking through the trail.

I waiting as long as I could, for dark to settle in …

You sort of get the idea.

A ranger went by in his car and told me I only had a few minutes left before I had to skedaddle.

Something’s fishy.

But it wasn’t as dark as I wanted!

Better contrast.

I really meant well.

Not green with envy.

Better luck next year?
