The Syracuse Mets open house at NBT Bank Stadium was one month, two days ago.
Today is opening day.
Our Triple A squad is scheduled to play the Pawtucket Red Sox.
Yet this is what our backyard looked like on Monday a mere few miles from the stadium.
Good luck, grounds crew.
I will be there with my dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth and sensational significant George Three, all of us leaving work after a half-day.
Unless told otherwise by team officials.
Yet they say it’s all clear. And sunny but brisk, upper 30s to lower 40s.
Let’s Go Mets.

Looking forward to reading your reports and seeing your pics! Hope it’s a good crowd to welcome the new team.
