Taking a detour recently through the Village of Liverpool, the size of an American flag flying in front of a local business made me go back to snap some photographs.
Thankfully, the wind picked up as I worked my iPhone 8.
And the birds who are immediately adjacent to the flag pole indeed help put the grandeur into perspective.

I also sometimes pause and get taken in by large US flags – tugs at my heart and the beauty of all that it whispers! and I like your image

Chew on it – craft a post with a fantastic title /- title so good that even without going into the post a sense of patriotism was shared and used to inspire !
Then- the photos – and a bit of writing –
Yeah – more hen just stare

The car dealerships in nearby Prescott seem to have a competition going on BIG FLAGS. Your photo capture certainly rivals any I have seen. Thank you. All my best to you Mark.

That is an unusually large flag. Recently, I noticed a flag at a local business which seemed foreshortened – it almost looked as if someone had cut off the tattered ends and called it good.

Flags should not be fixed, CM. They should be retired. That much I know.

That’s a big flag but the pole doesn’t look like its able to support it.
