What is one way that winter in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville can wear you down?
When it seems that you can’t remember how many days in a row you had to brush off the cars.
And run the shovel along the front walk.
I think of it as another darn dusting.
But it sure beats the stuff measured in feet.
The rain has set in and it’s squishy and muddy here. It’s supposed to hit upper 70’s this week, but they’re giving potentially 3-5 inches more of rain. I would just nearly prefer snow.

I would really, really dig some days in the upper 70s, Apple Pie, squishy or not.

Ah yes, snow. I’m originally from Minnesota and I know the feeling. Great post, I really enjoyed it. Also, thanks for checking out my recent blog post.

Thanks for joining my little group here, Emily. Yes, Minnesota. If you’re from there, you indeed know snow. 😮

I’m with you, Mark. These days, I get excited if I look out the side door and don’t see any snow on top of my car. I am so tired of having to brush it off every day. But spring is just around the corner, and there will be no ice scrapers, no snow brushes – and no snow boots! I can hardly wait.

This winter has seemed to wear me down and out, CM. Must be the increasing years on my odometer. Oy.

we had a surprise dusting last night, and like you, i tried to tell myself that it could have been worse with an accumulation that i would have had to shovel. it is supposed to be 62 degrees here on tuesday. heading towards spring kicking and screaming.

We had more than a dusting this morning! The saving grace was that it was light and fluffy, so I got it shoveled while Steven showered (he has to work today).

I can see where the sweeping and brushing are better than the shoveling and heaving!!!
