I’ve been looking for that big splash of fall color.
Usually I spy slightly changing leaves by the end of August here in Central New York.
This year has been different.
Yellow it is.
Finally, this week outside my workplace at the Liverpool Public Library I spotted a full-blown transformation.
Down goes the foliage.
This tree on Second Street decided to go straight to yellow. And fast.
Green, still.
Meanwhile on the Tulip Street side, there’s plenty of hangers-on.
Maybe it was all that rain of May, June and July.

Mother Nature can’t make up her mind here. Last week, we had nights in the upper 40’s and yesterday the high was 91. I like my seasons one at a time. I’m crazy that way. Your pics are excellent!

Here in Tennessee the colors have usually changed by now but over the past few years its been slow in their transition.

When we left David said “look at it now, it will be different when we get back”. We figure it will be all gold and orange on our return.
