Wow, our pretty little tree has white flowers

We’ve been wondering what color the tree smack dab in the middle of our front yard of A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville would be, this being our first year here.

Beautiful blooming.

We found out.

White, it is.

Lovely, we think.

Deep, true white. A good match to the deep purple of the leaves we saw when we moved in this pst October, which you can see in my header photo up top.

We had to leave the pink of our flowering Robinson crabapple and little Snow Fountain Cherry Cherry back on the front yard at The Little Bitty in the Syracuse city neighborhood of Eastwood, and I’ve been missing their bloom at this time of year.

So this emergence felt really, really good.

What trees are blooming at your place on our Earth? Can you tell us what type of tree is giving us these white blooms?

  1. I agree with the dogwood answer! It’s beautiful and the stones around it look great, too. Enjoy it as it matures in your new home, Mark. 🙂

  2. We’re mostly past the blooming trees here in KY, but in our yard the magnolia came first, followed by forsythia and lilacs, Bradford pears, and then the dogwoods. Around town there may still be some red buds blooming but we don’t have one… Your tree IS lovely
