When I came back from stretching my legs before the game between the Syracuse Orange and Florida State Seminoles started Saturday in the Carrier Dome, I found a little surprise saving my seat.
My dear wife Karen thought that my cushion was an excellent resting place for my Floyd Little bobblehead to take a short rest.
History lesson, young sports fans. Little was one of the great running backs in Syracuse history, a proud member of the Orange’s legend of the No. 44 jersey before going on to great things in the NFL with the Denver Broncos. He came back home to Syracuse to become one of the athletic department administrators, too.
Yay, Floyd Little, nice man and great hall-of-famer.
Fun story and this guy represents the orange week cos even the broncos have all that orange – hah!!!

Yup, Y, he didn’t have to change uni colors when he went to the NFL. 🙂
