One game does a bet make.
Syracuse Chiefs at the Toledo Mud Hens, Fifth Third Bank Field, Toledo, Ohio, tonight, for all the marbles.
If the Chiefs win, to take the eight-game series 5-3, it shall be on the pages of markbialczak.com:
If the Mud Hens win in front of Beth of I Didn’t Have My Glasses On to end the series tied at four games each, it shall be on both blogs:
Yes, the Mud Hens did indeed win 3-2 Thursday night out there in Beth’s part of the country to allow this one last gasp at a tie. May I repeat that I will not lose this highlight of the International League inter-blogging wager world for 2014? (Not to mention the first such contraption either of us have ever heard of in our wildest imaginations?)
The trash talking in the past couple of weeks has all been in fun. By the way, why did the Mud Hen cross the road? Because the Chief looked at it funny.
The wager will be settled this weekend.
I will have a little something to post on Beth’s blog, and she a contribution for this spot.
How thrilling for all of us!
Play ball!
Here’s the source for the see-saw graphic.

I liked this battle between you and Beth, such fun and antics here! I liked your graphics and wondered also, like Beth did, how did you get her on the playground on the see-saw? Smiles, Robin

wow, one last gasp at a tie???? anyway, if you were wondering why the hens didn’t cross the road, it’s because they were not foolish enough to follow the chiefs, across a freeway and over the bridge. ) love your graphics by the way, and how did you get my picture on the playground? did my kinders send it to you. good luck to you tonight, my friend )

I victory-danced around the living room when I found that see-saw graphic, Beth. Thanks to the kinders for the playground repro. The Chiefs are on the railroad tracks to the poultry plant. It’s not raining out there is it? That would foil your hopes.

Too funny! Though I am not a baseball fan (weird, huh?) us ‘women folk’ have to stick together…so my money is on Beth and her Mud Hens! In the spirit of sportsmanship – Good Luck to All! 🙂 ~Karen~

Beth has Jamie Farr on her side to add weight to her teeter-totter. I like your serene header, BTW. No comma issues on this one. 🙂

After the Chiefs win I may have to say: Did you see what I saw … No teeter on that totter, no comma, either, Kerbey. I was quite proud of myself finding that graphic depicting Beth and I at horizontal on the playground apparatus.
