Hi, bud! I see you like your new location

Blooming

Blooming

Two weekends ago, we lovingly placed our new flowering Robinson Crabapple tree in the hole I’d dug in our front yard in Eastwood.

Last night, my dear wife Karen burst through the door upon her return from work with one of those emphatic sentences that gets both a question mark and exclamation point.

Did you see the buds on the new tree?!

I hadn’t. A few purple-ish blooms had pushed their heads into our world in the hours since I’d manned the watering hose.

Our tree is happier than that transforming Saturday. So, too, the Bialczaks.

  1. This was a sweet green grassy area for the new Robinson crabapple to grow in! Mark, I think that you take a wonderful outlook on the everyday parts of our world, give it a friendly ‘spin’ and catch us with your stories! Loved this purplish pink bud, last May and now, the new post, with the new buds gone ‘bonkers’ this late April, too!
