This is what it looks like when we drive (or I walk) to the bottom of our street.
No, we can’t just continue straight down to the lake.
There are more houses and another, busier cross road between us.

I usually walk at one of our two local malls (one being converted to some sort of medical complex?) underway for over two years now. Because as much as I enjoy walking outside the exposure for that time to cold weather irritates my sinuses and they start running. ðââï¸ Curious to drive my wife up to that destiny mall as it still seems quite active. Even if we have to stay overnight to do it. I was there before when working with one of my clients B-M/Squibb on Thompson Road when I worked full time.
