Why our phones work well

Towering.

Just past an old-fashioned strip shopping center a block down from our house looms a couple of tall structures that I imagine were put up by the companies that battle for our cellphone business.

What a cluster!

  1. Seems like some days those towers are the only things around, Bro. They are putting them up bigger and better,, in their own opinions, every day, but they still lose signals during bad weather. I must be getting really old because I suddenly wish we still had the old home phones that stayed at home when we left the house. You had to be there to take the call. Much better than having a cell that goes with you and never leaves you alone for a second. I admit it — I am always afraid I will miss an important call if I don’t have it with me when the reality is that most days spam calls are the only things I ever get.
