Thank you, my dear wife.
My dear wife Karen heard me talking about how I thought a seven-wood would help me improve my golf game. Just the club to help me hit better shots out of the rough, where my drives tend to wander. And easier to hit than an iron from the fairway, too, rumor had it.
So when a few extra bucks came her way, she sponsored a purchase as my anniversary present.
I went to the nearby Golf Galaxy brick-and-mortar, and their shelves were empty of seven-woods …
But the helpful clerk jumped online and found just what I wanted.
It arrived at our house two days later.
Yes. I am happy.
By the way, the cool bucket hat is a gift from my dear wife from her girls getaway to Montego Bay. You betcha it’s been on my head to the golf course.
Your hat is what I saw at first glance and I smiled! I love those kinds of hats.
And Karen is a sweetheart for getting you that club! How thankful you are!

Congrats on the gift, Mark. I was a big “wedge” guy way back in the day…out of necessity of course. But on the course, it eventually became one club I actually felt confident about lol!
