Being a University of Maryland alum, my mind goes to the Terrapins when I spot a collection of turtles.
And this was a magnificent batch, albeit with not a thing to do with my old school.
However, it also made me think of the turtle hospital and preserve we visited on our trip to South Padre Island, Texas, as my dear wife Karen and I strolled the annual Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival. Yes, I say.
