Wind in their hair.
One day during this year’s Cape Cod getaway, we coaxed the cherished rescue mutt back into the car and drove the mile or so back to the two beaches where we walked her from the house we rented the past few years before this year’s model came back available on the renting site.
Our dog knew where we were while in the car.

Relaxed.
Out of the car, both the private and public elevated spots made the dog, and us, quite happy indeed.

Hooray!
Sitting on beach stairs is our thing, we know.
I took notice of the opening comment, “Wind in their hair.”
Some people are lucky because they never need complain, “I got a bad haircut.”
I complain about that all the time.

it’s so beautiful there, and I’m glad you were able to get this place back for E as well as for the two of you, because it sounds like she is aging and you don’t know how many more chances you’ll have for her to experience her favorite places

I’m going to recommend the movie that came out a few months ago to you and Karen called ‘the friend’ about a woman who inherited a dog from. her friend, very moving.
