Hanging out.
For most of February, my dear wife Karen relished our cozy home and viewed the constant cold and snow from the inside out.
When our cherished rescue mutt could no longer exit the back door to do her thing, I had to go out with a shovel.
Not only did I see the big pile on our back deck, but a big batch of icicles hanging off the gutters.
Yes, the shovel worked well pointing up before I used it pointing down.
We were in Pennsylvania and I experienced the cold winter tundra for a week. It was enough for me!
