The perfect noodle?

Watching <em>Shark Tank</em> recently, a husband-and-wife team that came up with a Thai pha soup caught the attention of two sharks and my dear wife Karen and I.

They were already selling well in several big stores and online. We had a four-pack of the beef pha shipped, and it arrived in a day.

In short, I adored the rice noodles but one of the variety of the included spices did not inspire me.

The next big food shopping trip, my smart wife threw her own ingredients in our cart.

She knows my tastes. Chicken broth, carrots and snap peas, chicken breast. And, oh, those rice noodles.
