You’re it, da.

I’ve long thought myself bowed out of these blogging games. I’ve put enough years in clicking and clacking away to avoid the tangled webs, indeed.

But yet, it was (beth kennedy – ididnthavemyglasseson.com) who laid the tag on me from her blog a few days ago. She was one of the first connections I made when I started this blog in February 2013.

So I gotta.

How did you come up with your blog name?

Well, markbialcak.com.com is kind of self-explanatory. But the sub-title, What Will I I Write about Next, I thought best explained my mind set back then 11 years ago. I really didn’t know what I’d end up writing about on any given day. I was leaving my job as the music writer from the big daily around here. I loved sports. A was an avid reader of fiction. So much about life caught my eye. Hey, I’m still like that.

If your blog was a person (fictional or real), who would it be?

Me. My dear wife Karen. Our cherished rescue mutt. Daughter Elisabeth and partner George Three and grandcat Ava. We all turn up and give the daily posts personality, I think (and hope).

What helps you create new content if you feel like you need some inspiration?

My strolls around my part of the world, Central New York, and our travels to events, provide all the inspiration I need.

Is there anyone you would like to collaborate with?

I have collaborated with Beth Kennedy, and we had a lot of fun. I also met and wrote posts about days spent with Ann Koplow, and she posted about it too. I consider them friends, really and truly.

Is there anything more you wish you had or would like to learn as a blogger?

Blogging allowed me to become a much better photographer. I hope to keep getting better, always, writing and taking photos.

Do you have a specific style of blogging?

It interests me, I hope it interests somebody else.
