
An attempt.
A trip to Lowe’s included a perusal of the Outdoor Gardening aisle for my dear wife Karen and I to figure out a good way to cover the pesky corner outside our front alcove that attracts weeds and such.
Instead of medium, small or smallest rocks, we went with sand.
Looks good, we decided.
And then we found out his the critters like to dig in it …
We just can’t win! If it’s one thing, it’s another.

it’s always something! what about ‘hens and chicks’ which basically grow in any medium and don’t need a lot of sun they are pretty hardy and low to the ground.
