Family hauler in the day.
I certainly pre-date the SUV.
So every year when I circle the cars that visit my city for the annual Syracuse Nationals classic car show, I take a photo of a good, old-fashioned station wagon.
And I think back to sharing a ride in the back seat with my sisters as my parents rode in the front as we went … so many places.
We, too, had a station wagon for a few years when I was growing up. How many road trips with my sister and I in that way-back, facing backwards seat! Maybe that is the source of my life-long carsickness…? Haha. Great photo!

Oh, I do remember our station wagon! We went everywhere in it. And at one point the back seat was situated so that we faced the back window. So fun!

love this, and I’ve always. loved station wagons. my outback is listed as a station wagon, so insurance is cheaper, and extra bonus.

Here’s to the insurance bonus, Beth! Our Honda HRV looks like a station wagon to me.

Karen and I think you’d be happy with it, Beth. Versatile and sturdy and has enough zoom too.
