As my dear wife Karen, friend Chris and I strolled the lovely Thousand Islands village of Clayton, I lagged behind to capture the St. Lawrence River lighthouse.
I imagine it casting its beam of security to various ships over the decades … centuries.
what a great capture, could be a postcard. what an important role lighthouses have had

It’s hard to imagine that lighthouses played such an important part of history around the world. Your posts often lead me to search more about a topic. I added a LightHouse bookmark to my hundreds of others. 🙂 sigh
