Finding my fill.
A breakfast drive to the next town over lands my dear wife Karen and I at the Pancake Man.
I don’t need a menu to know my order, but I’ll read it anyway just to see the other delights I could have if my taste buds were wandering.
Indeed, two plates stacked with a thick ham slice, two eggs over easy and three buttermilk pancakes deliver the deliciousness I remember from, oh, 20 years visited now.
After pulling back from this great morning feast, I tell the same hostess on duty as usual that we two always make sure to visit on our yearly vacation.
Her thank you is as genuinely filling as the food.
That looks soooooo good!

Yes, Mark…I also have some places we go to where my menu is not necessary…but I scan it nonetheless lol.

I think if I could eat out I would choose breakfast. Never in the mood to fix a decent one. I usually have a dish of cold cereal and coffee. And woe to HIM who doesn’t remember to set Mr. Coffee the night before.
