Go ahead, ask us.
Do you want to go to Trivia Night at the Syracuse Mets again, wondered the text from terrific daughter Elisabeth.
Sign us up, I replied.
Last season, our first attempt at matching our wits in the Metropolitan Room at NBT Bank Stadium as the Syracuse Mets played on the field below, our team placed 11th out of the 25 teams they accepted.
Our squad roster was altered some. My dear wife Karen was able to join us, and Elisabeth’s friends Megan and Mallory and Joe were new additions, too.
We were on fire!

The quizmaster.
Sure, some of the 64 questions in the eight rounds had us scratching our heads.
But we answered enough correctly to finish tied for fifth place.

Meanwhile, down on the field …
The Mets beat Columbus in the baseball game 5-3, too.
Yay yay! Rising in the standings, indeed! What a fun time and tribe of trivia masters! You’re all winners in my book!
