Wanted: big ring finger.
I had to go through my photo roll before waving a final bye-bye to my spring 2024 trip to Georgia to visit KP and Sue.
I missed a few captures I want to share, starting with that large-scale World Series ring stationed outside of the Atlanta Braves’ Truist Park.
Doggone it.
My friends’ Trilith neighborhood spared nothing when installing its dog park. I thought the sunshade awning looked like a comfortable hammock from afar.
Classy and classic.
Atlanta planners really knew how to meld the old with new needs in the Ponce de Leon Boulevard neighborhood.
Rest stop.
Walker and bikers can take a break at one of the former railway stops.
Hello, up there.
And the sky must be scraped.
That’s a big ring, and hopefully the Phillies will be sporting the same at season’s end. (Some of the rings they’ve been making for championship team members and staff are almost as big lol…)

All members of the organization could pass just one of these around day-to-day, like the Stanley Cup, Bruce.

I like how you “see” the world around you~the angles, captures, and scrapes to the sky! That’s a big ring indeed! I think Finley (and me!) would enjoy that dog park immensely! Thank you for taking us along!

That dog park was nicer than so many people parks, Karla. I’m sure you and Finley would savor time there! And yes, you get that I like to look at the world’s angles this way nd that!

This makes me want to visit my brother in Atlanta, Bro. Mark. He’s quite the photographer also. That’s some huge playground for grownups!

Your brother has chosen quite the nice city to reside, sis Angie!

Right now my brother is in Switzerland after a week in Italy. I think I would rather visit him there. I’ve been to Germany and Austria but not to Italy and Switzerland, although it is probably a lot like Austria and Bavaria. Family roots are in Bavaria, now a part of Germany.
