Georgia on my mind.
My dear wife Karen used her card points to buy me plane tickets to visit my great friend KP and his fantastic wife Sue in their near-Atlanta home.
I’ve been talking about that trip south in a spring month since, well, pretty much soon after they moved from Central New York 2 1/2 years ago.
She took got on her phone and made it happen.
Field-level view.
And we planned it to coincide with a New York Mets road trip to play the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park.
A good time was had by this Mets fan in the midst of the Braves’ loyalists. Yankees’ fan KP backed me up, too.
Scoreboard doesn’t lie.
That the Mets won by the unlikely score of 16-4, well, gravy.
I stayed with gracious KP and Sue for five days.
Yes, you’ll be seeing more posts to come.
Always nice to be on hand to see your team win in a rival’s park, Mark. A beautiful day for a Mets win!

Our two squads tangle a lot less this season because of the new balanced schedule, Bruce. It puts a lot more focus on the games we do play against our time-tested NL East rivals. Enjoy your Phillies!
