A fit day to be out for people and critters.
The sun and warmth brought out walkers, two legs and four.
The squirrel at right decided the path to the lake was more fitting at this moment than all those leafless trees.

Mark, I love your pics. You know how much I love my nature walks–and I know you both enjoy them too! These captures always put a smile on my face! I will be sharing a pic of a squirrel that I named “Squeaky” (a fellow walker/hiker passerby helped me with the name). Squeaky, I’m sure, was the SAME squirrel that played hide-n-seek with me at the SAME tree the week before. I think squirrels like me because I tend to be squirrely at times. I’m so happy you had sun, warmth, critters, and a great walk!

It is great that Squeaky sought your companionship two weeks in a row, Karla. Smart squirrel!

Tee hee! I’m glad you think he’s smart! I’d like to think that animals make the best nature partners. Thank you, Mark!

That’s a photo from the last walk, we have about 4 inches of fresh snow this morning, Beth, but it’s supposed to melt soon enough.

A nice flat place for you to walk. If I step out of my home to walk I have two choices: Go up the hill or go down the hill. No can do anymore.
So I walk back and forth from the computer to the kitchen for coffee.
