Could be empty already.
Garbage pickup comes early on my block.
When I return from driving my dear wife Karen to her 7 a.m. Monday shift at the eye center less than a half-mile from our house, one of the two big pails is usually empty.
Usually it’s the black garbage bucket. Another truck comes around to collect the green recycling bucket later. At least I assume it’s a different truck.
We don’t have to be up and about until 7:30 AM during the week, but our trash and recycling trucks on Tuesdays arrive well before that time. Trash day around here is “know-you-will-get-up-earlier day,” Mark.🙂

I’m up earlier than they are, Bruce, but I wonder if the clatter would bother me if I were still trying to get my beauty sleep!

it’s not often when things run in an over-efficient way – always surprising )
