Ancient air.
Our local heating and plumbing company definitely grabbed our attention with its January sales pitch.
Buy a new furnace and central air conditioning unit at the same time and get the furnace for about $1,110. You read that right.
Folks that lived at our house two-plus decades ago most likely put in the furnace and air at the same time. Last summer this creaky unit did a good job taking out the humidity but couldn’t lower the temperature even a degree.
Wait until you see the new one here tomorrow.

Can I get that deal down here? It was bone chilling 28 degrees for about, oh, maybe 8 hours. But my banana plants are all kaput!
My angst is when I have to turn on the a/c in two weeks!
