Our cherished rescue mutt’s routine visit to her vet’s office included a couple of important vaccinations.
It made both of us smile when she returned from the back room procedure with a bright red bandage around the shot location.
Yes, Ellie and I discussed, it looked a lot like the bandages that my dear wife Karen and I sported on our arms this month after receiving our COVID and flu shots at the pharmacy.

I’d like to have a dog or cat
But can’t keep up with all of that
I’m leaving pets to all the rest
Who will take care of them the best
The kids had 2 gerbils for a while. And then we had more gerbils for a while. They needed care too and we finally gave them back to the pet store with all the cage and wheels and stuff.
We now have some very very small creatures around the house and my husband takes good care of them!!!
