There’s still baseball left

Seasonal feel.

We knew we had at least one more baseball game left in us, so I took a handful of vouchers to the box office and grabbed four tickets for a Sunday day game.

As happens, the morning dawned gray and drizzling.

We’re fans.

My dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth, great fiance George Three and I despaired not.

We made it into the ninth inning of the Syracuse Mets’ 9-1 loss to the Rochester Red Wings.

And …

There are still two vouchers and a last homestand week of the season burning holes in our pockets. We (and you) shall see.
